Worked in the restaurant industry for five years, had a blast, had some cries, had some laughs, decided there is no place right now where I can pour my soul into the food and have complete control. Up until recently I had planned to obtain a degree in journalism, hoping to become a food writer in the Bay Area. Now I feel the urge to push myself to do something worthwhile and that will help support the slightly extravagant lifestyle I require. Thus, medical school has moved to the top of the priority list.
If I’m not at school or working, you’d find me eating at restaurants all over the place and studying the coolest roundworm infestations. And I pride myself on being able to do both at the same time. Just try grossing me out.
